Obertauern
At 1,740 metres above sea level, in the heart of Obertauern, your ski day with us begins right outside the front door. Ski boots on, skis on your shoulder and a few moments later you are already on the slopes. You can skip long drives and the daily search for a parking space – instead there is more time for what you came here for: the snow and the mountains.
The ski area around the Breitlehenalm offers varied runs for every ability. On gentle slopes, little slope fans gather their first experiences, while experienced skiers find new challenges on demanding and black runs.
Ski in – ski out!
Skiing
in Obertauern
Obertauern is a ski area that makes every winter day look different: 100 kilometres of slopes and 26 cable cars and lifts connect varied runs all around the village. Creative lines await in the snow park, exciting freeride routes open up off-piste, and with the popular night skiing the ski day even continues after sunset.
And right in the middle of it all lies the Breitlehenalm – directly on the slopes. So you head straight into the ski area without detours and, after the last turn, glide comfortably back to your holiday home.

A true
paradise
Not every winter day has to be spent on the ski slopes. Cross-country fans also find the best conditions in Obertauern: on the daily groomed trails you can glide through the snowy mountain landscape in classic or skating style.
If you prefer to take it a little easier, discover Obertauern on the numerous winter hiking trails. Step by step they lead through the silent snowy landscape and keep opening up new views of the surrounding mountains.
And if you fancy something a little faster, head for the toboggan run. A special tip is the Gnadenalm, around four kilometres from Obertauern: its floodlit toboggan run makes you want another go even in the evening.
